Delegate training and support
The National Union Of Workers, New South Wales Branch offers a range of training options for our Delegates.
All Delegates are invited to attend:

2 Day Delegates Training - This is a two day course which covers a range of topics you will need to know to gain the confidence to be a successful workplace Delegate. Courses are monthly but advanced booking is necessary. If you would like to participate please email Mark Ptolemy or call the NUW office on 9682 4622

On The Road Training - This is a flexible ten day program which allows our Delegates a first hand look at organising and union activity. Participants go "on the road" with union officials to see the diversity and scope of the workplaces that have NUW coverage. If you are interested in this program, please speak with your Organiser or Mark Ptolemy on 9682 4622

Other training options: The NUW office runs a variety of small group training based upon need or interest. We have run courses on Public Speaking, Negotiations and the Fair Work laws as well as O H & S. If you be interested in attending these courses or if you have a suggestion for a course that you think would be benficial to Delegates, please contact Mark Ptolemy on 9682 4622
